i just got a new one a while ago and he's(hopefully a he) is about the same size as yours. here's a pic from when i got him. haven't gotten around to updating his baby book
i had a jin gang but she had air bladder disease.

Kool she was gorgeous. hate to here ya lost her. I like your new one also love how fast they grow. I keep my temp at 82. mine have grown 3 inchs in 6 weaks. The pic is 3 weak old

yeah i raised that other when she was about the size of a quarter. she was 2 1/2yrs old. actually her sister just died a few months ago. she was my cousin's xmas present.
this new one is my rebound FH. it's in the 55g by itself. lucky fish.
have you checked out flowerhornUSA? i was a member there when i had my first one but dropped out when i lost her. great site. i'd go back but too many forums to get a handle on.

the toy FH? . i got them from a sponsor at flowerhornUSA years ago. i also got some marine types which i got from the philippines. these are usually the fish found in those aerated displays.
my flowerhorns play with them, actually practice attacking them. i also toss in a small plastic ball.
