I am sticking with freshwater for now, is there any corals or sponges that would live in freshwater?
Any coral/sponges that grow in freshwater?

I know there are freshwater sponges, but I don't know anything about keeping them alive.. I took an aquatic ecology lab at Lake Okoboji and we found an immense colony of freshwater sponges in on of the nearby marshes. We took some back with us and the next day it was dead and just smelled awful!
