i know i already asks someone about this topic, but anyways, my angelfish had their third spawn now,but sadly,everytime....all the eggs are infertile and turn white....i dont know whats wrong,....i know one is a male and the other is a female, the female has a big belly for the eggs and the male doesnt...anyone know what could be wrong with the spawning or eggs?
Chunky, my guess is both are probably female if you did not observe the ovipositors well.

hm....well i do have another angelfish in there, should i try to pair both of them up to see if the other one is an angelfish???if both the ones that spawned were female, wouldnt they both lay eggs??

not necessarily. Sometimes a dominant female will "act" as male and go through the steps a male does. My guess is they are both females. It's that or you do have a male that is not fertilizing the eggs. Do you see the other Angel seemingly fertilize the eggs?
(the shape of the Angels belly has no determination of it's sex)

well do you think i have a female that has not yet gotten a belly with eggs?well, a belly that pops out....i think its the male thats not fertilzing the eggs....
by "Do you see the other Angel seemingly fertilize the eggs?" do you mean the third one i had or the one thats mating?

When you see the female lay the eggs, is there a male or any other angel swimming up passing over the eggs after she does?
