Help with ID

Haha the funny part is that the "yellow lab" isnt even a yellow lab.

And this comment helps how?

Anyway, looks like fry of an Aulonocara or Protomelas species.

Well Tarheels910 your obviouslby not a big a genius as you make out to be as it has been identified by numerous other people and went back to check the label at the lfs and it is indeed a Protomelas. A juvenile Taiwan Reef. So if the other fish aint a yellow lab genius, 'd love you tell me what it is!

Im not trying to be cocky, but im right.

Close but the pattern in still off to be a Taiwan Reef (First pic).

And here is a Yellow Lab. Look at the black on the fins compared to yours. (Second pic)

My taiwian reef has the same markings as the the juvie in the picture, mine are more pronounced that the one in your pic but both if you look close look like they have "HI" written on them. I posted the fish in the ID area of cichlid forum, thats where its been i.d'd and I google imaged it.
As for the yellow lab, looking at the pic you have posted mine looks the same but only has black on its tail fin so maybe its not, im waiting for some other id's on it

The one in my pic is an adult female. Im seeing a little resemblance but its almost still to young to tell. As for the yellow one, im guessing a hybrid. I can see a little kenyi/lombardoi in it.
