It has been a while since I posted some pics of my tank, so I figured why not?

It has undergone a transformation in the last month or two. We rearranged the rocks considerably, we were getting tired of the old formation. Anyways, I recently added the Frogspawn and a branching Avleopora.

Pic 1: Overall shot of my tank
Pic 2: New branching Frogspawn
Pic 3: New Avleopora
Pic 4: Green star polyp (first coral in my tank, as you can see it has exploded)
Pic 5: Relatively new toadstools, loved this piece when I saw it, had to get it.
Pic 6: Shot of both of them side by side, just like this pic, don't know why.
Pic 7: Tweetie and some new purple shrooms in the background. My wife named her, this is our favorite fish in the tank, very spunky, always loves to watch us as if she is at the theatre, not us watching her!

Enjoy everyone!

Any thoughts on maybe trying some SPS?

Looks great Joe. I'm not typically a toadstool fan but those look fabulous

Niether am I Grins, but I saw this piece and had to get it, my wife insisted as well, and as you may have heard me say before, I am not 100% in charge of this reef tank, my wife is the one that decides what goes where, her interior decorating at its most micro-managing level, but I am cool with that. This rock formation looks so much better than it did before, and she did most of it. I keep telling her about you, she loves your tank and pics by the way. Who knows, she may get an AC username before to long.

Thanks everyone on the comments!

Thanks Subliminal, not sure, I have been thinking about it, I have the lighting horsepower now. I have read that leathers and toadstools don't mix well with SPS though, so I am not sure.

I hope so! We have some great female reefers here but we'd love more. Please tell her she is doing great things with the tank.

I hear ya.

My girlfriend decides where everything gets placed... but when I ask her to help me out with water change, she says "it's your tank".

I don't get it.

It is, as I mentioned that was the first coral I bought for this tank, nearly 18 months ago. It was a frag about 3 1/2 inches, now look at it. Explosion!

Grins, too funny on the heavy buckets thing, I was rolling over on the floor! HA HA. That is what my wife says too, sometimes she will hold the siphon tube, but rarely!
