when you buy bunches of plants, do you count the bunch as one plant, or each stem in the bunch as a single plant?

whats the best way to divide bunches and plant an aquarium without it looking like a bunch of plants growing sparsely and poorly arranged?

I always split my bunches into groups of 3 or 4 stems and plant them. If I'm looking to keep them close I just put the mini bunches about 3 inches apart.

I plant three or four stems together w/the shorter ones in front of the taller. It may look thin for a while but it should fill in once they start growing.

you can count them how ever you want. some people sell them in bunches others by stems.

you could always plant each stem. i tend to split up a couple stems together and plant them also.
