I have a powder brown tang that was introduced at the same time with a yellow tang and a sailfin. The yellow and sailfin seem to be doing great (eating well and seem to be generally happy), but for some reason the powder brown is really shy and hides when anybody is near the tank, thus he isn't eating the sinking pellets I've been feeding them. The powder brown does have quite a bit of ich (another battle I've been working on with Kick-Ich), but nevertheless I can't intice the fellow to eat. Any thoughts?

You have a couple of things going on. I believe you need a larger tank for those 3 fish to be housed together. The PB may be scared. Depending on how advanced the ich is that could be causing the loss of apetite too. What kind of pellets are you using? Have you tried nori? Forumla II flakes soaked in garlic extract? Mysis even? On the ich thing, I'm a believer in a hospital tank when inverts and live rock/sand are in the display tank. I also prefer hypo and copper as treatments so can't comment on the success rate you'll have with the treatment you're using from a personal experience.

try giving the tang a FW dip to get rid of the ick then see how it gets on.

Well... the powder brown died today... sucks. SO, I went and bought cupramine and moved all of my fish into a 20 gal. I'll see how that goes. Also, the yellow tang is starting to look pretty bad too. The pectoral fins are starting to look like they have fin rot. Is that just one of the symptoms of ich, and will it go away with the cupramine? if need be, I'll post some pics. Thanks.

Without seeing a picture, the yellow tang could be suffering from HLLE ( Head and Latteral Line Erosion ). Review the following article to see if this is your issue...
