I have a 29 gallon aquarium. Along with some other tank residents, I had only planned to have a male & a female Blue Ram, but ended up with 3 Rams -- 2 males and a female. Can this work, or will fights break out between the 2 males? And if so, will the 2 males injure each other, or are their fights mainly bluff?

they may fight over the female. while they will not inflict too much actual physical damage on each other, aside from torn fins, the dominant male could certainly harass the lesser male to the point of exhaustion and death. make sure you have a lot of plants and caves so the lesser male can hide out, or return one of them.

Thanks for your response. I'll probably wait and see, and then consider returning one of the males to the LFS if it looks like it's going to be a problem. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't a chance of immediate injury or death as soon as I put them together.
