Kind of a weird question but after reading up on people seeing their plants pearling, I'm just wondering if that's normal or not. I have yet to see any of my plants doing it even though they are growing and multiplying.

Also, anyone else who has Mint charlie and ramhorn snails find that the snails seem to aggregate on the mint charlie?

Here is an example of pearling rotala macrandra in a high light co2 added tank:

So that makes it very unlikely to happen in low-tech set-ups? Or is it possible?
It will not happen. Pearling happens due to saturation of oxygen during photosynthesis.:) High lighting plays its role in the pearling. Pearling can be minimized by reducing light wattage.

I probably don't have enought light then. The snails have apparently cleaned the mint and have now started on the rocks.

I think it can also happen artificially from having CO2 levels really high.
