do all aquarium plants like alkaline water?
do all aquarium plants like high level light or low level lights?

plz list the ones that do and ones that dont

alkaline as in high pH?

or high alkalinity referring to KH level?

I am guessing pH but just making sure

just for clarification list actual numbers as high and low is relative

and each plant will have specific lighting levels it can withstand...it will depend on species.

i have a 10 gal with about 6 small live plants in there with sand, i will get a high level high later on, but i heard that alkaline water helps. my water level is 15% full with 2-3 inches of sand...so then the plants can get enough light to grow is that possible?

light depends on spectrum and mostly wpg (watts per gallon) I think but it would help to know the names of the plants you have or at least some pics to id
