I currently have 2 otos in my 10 gallon tank. I got back from a 4 day vacation and noticed one of my otos was bulging at its stomach. At first i was worried but then i read that if they have no redness then its ok. Is it pregnant? if so are the eggs already fertilized? how long will it be "pregnant" thanks..

It's not pregnant. They are egg layers. There's the possibility that it is a female that has filled with eggs in expectation of spawning.

UPDATE: The oto officially died this morning, i am thinking there was a problem with the swim bladder.. It was floating and swimming upside down on the top of the water..
