WOW, I didn't realize they'd be SO tiny! I was imagining them to be about the size of the ghost shrimp when I first brought them home. (they're not in this tank, btw). I really hope they don't get eaten. I think I have enough cover they should be able to hide though. As soon as I put them in, they scooted right under the little caves I have in there. I haven't seen them since. They didn't have any color yet, and it was time to turn out the lights on the tank by then, so we'll see if I can find them in the morning.

I dropped a tetra sinking tablet in the general area I think they're hiding. I had fed the fish frozen brine earlier in the day, so there are likely some of those still sitting on the bottom of the tank. Unless the corys ate it all. Should I put anything else down there for them? Do anything special? An algae wafer maybe?

Next time I get some of these little guys, I'll make sure I have an empty tank just for them. This tank does have lots of hiding places though. *crossing fingers*

Anyway, thank you Mgamer for the shrimps! I put that plant in my tank that you had shipped them in. Will it sprout?

If they're anything like the ones I got from Mgamer, they should start coloring up with in a day or two. Mine were small and colorless when I received them, but mine are much bigger and a nice red already and it's only been about a week. Several have molted too!

If you have any algae in your tank, you shouldn't need to worry about feeding them right away, but they took care of my algae problem with in 2 days or so. Now I drop about a quarter of a algae wafer in every other day for the 20 I have. Usually takes about that long for them to eat it.
