The winner of the October 2007 Saltwater Tank of the Month is Trippkid (http://www.aquariacentral.com/forums/member.php?u=74143)
Specifics of the photograph and tank
120 Reef Ready AGA
25 Gal. DIY sump(clear tub from Wal-Mart)just houses skimmer,pumps and 400wt heater
20 Gal. DIY refugium(same as above)130 watts of PC lighting, on opposite lighting schedule from DT
Kent Nautilus EX 24 protein skimmer(slightly modified with additional venturi, and a luft pump to add more air to eductor, hole drilled in collection cup to allow for drainage into a larger container)
Mag 18 return pump
Mag 3.5 pump feeds water to the refugium, drains via gravity back to sump
Mag 9.5 on the skimmer
DIY Auto-topoff(fill with RO/DI once or twice a week, add aragamilk to container after filling, PH in container to keep things stirred up all the time)
1 Modified Maxi-jet 1200, pushing 2000 gph+
2 Mini-jet pumps
2 Maxi-jet 1200 on a closed loop for now, going to increase this with a Quiet One 9000(1500 gph)
Lighting:
3 110wt URI Super Actinic VHO's
1 110wt URI AquaSun VHO, the four are on an IceCap 660 ballast, these lights are on from 10am to 10pm
2 175wt MH, 14K bulbs, on a PFO Ballast, these are on from 12pm to 7pm, will be upgrading to 250wt system soon
Many moonlights on an automatic dimmer, simulates moon phases
4 4" fans, two on all the time, two more when MH's come on
All lights and (2)fans are on timers
100 lbs of live rock, 100 lbs of sand, in DT and refugium
I do weekly 20gal. waterchanges(RO/DI) with Red Sea Pro Coral salt and mix with Oceanic occasionally. I dose these things daily, Tropic Marin Iodine, Brighwell Aquatics Reef Code A&B(Calcium and Alk, two part system), Magnesium(BA), Strontium(BA) every other day.
Fish eat mostly frozen(emerald entree), seaweed flakes, some flake(Formula 2, very sparingly), once a day. I use Salifert test kits for most of my testing, I may try Lamotte tests the next time around.

Thank you everyone, I will post specifics later tonight, I have to take the kids to a Halloween parade in a little while, and I've been doing yard work all day and been helping another on a different forum for the last day or so. Again, thank you for all of the comments(good or bad).

Hi all, sorry for not posting sooner, have been really busy these past couple of days and nights.

That is it, I think for equipment and so forth, it is late, I'm messing up typing, I can't seem to kit the right keys. I will post the inhabitants tomorrow sometime, hopefully, way too many things to try and start now.:thumbsup:
