A person that cares about the game and the others in the game make it a point to post and vote.

KoTD it is really unfair for your teammates if you are not actually going to play. Just throwing out a vote to keep yourself in the game is not worth it. You are a good player when you actually play, and I know you've had a lot going on IRL. I hope things are better for you now and that you will be able to put some time into the game rather than just taking up a space and giving the bad guys a freebie townie death.

Ice, KOTD...come on guy's your both great players, don't do this to each other. Ice I completely understand your point, yes it gets very tiring with the UDs...but at the same time I understand why KOTD hasn't been in the game so much lately. Although he did sign up to play he should at least pull out or something..not just UD on us. I don't think I would be able to play if I were King right now either, don't be so hard on him please. He just lost a family member that was very dear to him. King you have to understand Ice's view also though..the game is frustrating/confusing enough as it is...if you can't play then don't, it is a fun game and I see why you want to sign up..but you do have to dedicate some time to it and yes, I'm sure now (and the past few games) has been very difficult for you to play, your family is DEFENITLY more important then this game no doubt about that!

But guy's don't do this to each other ok, your both great players and I hate to see this going on between you two.

I don't know where you got I think I'm the God of this game. If anything I try and tell them I'm not.

I didn't mean ever I meant the last 3 games you died, 2 of them on the 1st day.

If times are so tough and whirlwind right now, and believe me I understand, then just don't play. The game will continue on with out you. Your name isn't needed on the list to move ahead.

You can throw your tantrums directed my way, its okay I don't take anything personally. IRL I'd laugh at you for saying stuff like that so online its even funnier.

Get your personal life back in line, take your time, and when everythings settled down come back to the game. No reason to try and juggle both.

So the GF and I have been talking about it.. I might have her convinced that I can play but I can't make promises as this is what I have for work this week..

Monday in town doing a security install shouldn't run late but then its a security system.
Tuesday out of town won't be back until late - upgrading a post office 3 hours a way.
Wednesday - Thursday complete a 92 strand fiber splicing job for the Department of Transportation and depending on weather I may be working late one or both of those nights to get the job done. Fiber splicing and humidity don't mix.
Friday - Driving 3 hours to do a 16 cable install for the ND school for the deaf. Its gonna take a lot time as the building is old and not made for infrastructure cabling. I probably won't get home until 10 pm.

So as soon as you guys ask - Where is Clown-Lover please refer yourself to this message :)

Thanks.. unfortunately my schedule is always like that. I'm also a job foreman and have to keep six other guys busy.. But thats just me stopping by the job site and making sure the cable pulling is going ok taking care of their issues, making them fix NEC deficiencies etc etc etc. I normally get stuck doing the higher end stuff or the PINA stuff. Being the only one that can do fiber splicing it really makes my days fun when I'm out really rural doing stuff for telco's and the guys need me on-site.. Try that one hooked.. I know you install as well :)

My husband works for the cable company. He started off just working with the cable modems because he's a computer tech, but recently he got to join up on the fiber team and is now a certified fiber installer.

I normally fuse fiber as soon in the spring when they can start getting cable in the ground until right around the first frost. But then that works because that is when the larger infrastructure jobs are starting (1500+ computer cables) and I fall into managing that work. I consider myself a working foreman in that I actually still pull cable, and actually prefer it. I absolutely HATE having to stand behind a data rack and terminate cables.

I used to be an Office Guy and actually have a MBA but learned I HATED being trapped behind a desk. I guess it just falls down to I like to move around with my work. Since leaving the office world I have never looked back. It takes a different type of creature to be able to trapped behind a desk and to a phone all day long. I think the worst of it was meetings.. I worked with people that had meetings for the sake of having a meeting. :crazy:
