I wanted to keep discus. I have herd to put peat in the filter. This this the right thing to do?:confused:
Peat is not necessary. It's a matter of properly acclimating the discus to your tank.

Don't bother. Just do lots of water changes and keep your water parameters constant. Go to simplydiscus.com and read the forums if you want to learn how to care for discus.
