Hey all, I'm trying to decide what cichlids to get for my Rio 300 liter tank (48x20x24). I have allready got 3 apisto agassizi (1M + 2F) 2 angelfish and 2 ancistrus plecs. I need to pick some more cichlids to go in there, i've made a list of some possibles below, but I havent much experience with cichlids so I thort i'd get a hand from someone who knows a little more on them :) I'm trying to keep the tank as peacefull as possible, with small to medium cichlids, there will also be some harlequins, rummy nose tetras and guppys in there eventually. Please let me know what u think I should add to the tank and how many, and also the best sex ratios for each fish

Herotilapia Multispinosa (rainbow cichlid)
Laetacara Dorsigera (redbreast acara)
laetacara Curviceps (flag cichlid)
Anomalochromis Thomasi (african butterfly cichlid)
Cichlasoma Spilurum (blue eye cichlid)
Apistogramma Borellii

Thanks in advance

heya dave..

:D

Herotilapia Multispinosa (rainbow cichlid): probably a little too large and boisterous for that set-up
Laetacara Dorsigera (redbreast acara)ideal, go for pairs..
laetacara Curviceps (flag cichlid)as above(i just scored 4 for my 36" set-up)
Anomalochromis Thomasi (african butterfly cichlid)pairs - peaceful..
Cichlasoma Spilurum (blue eye cichlid)maybe a little on the large side..
Apistogramma Borellii: i wouldnt mix em with the agassiz..

also how about keyholes??

craig..:D ;)
