I'm looking for a tiny heater for my 10 gallon tank, that has a variable temp thermostat. Something reliable, but small is the major factor.

Visi-Therm's 50w is 7.5", which is probably one of the smallest and my favorite brand of heaters as well.
Tetra also makes one that's 5" or 6", but you can't adjust the temperature. It's permanently set to 78.

nice selection. I like the theo... I'm a fan of hydor's printed element designs. I also saw a tiny metal one with external dial but it was a lot more expensive. I wonder if I really need a thermostat at all... the tetra would sure save a lot of space.
I went with the theo, just ordered from petmountain. thanks for all the advice, I'll let you know what I think.
