Hubby and I went to look at the tank last night and I saw one of my plate corals showing down on the crown of one of my feather dusters. I looked at about 3am and it still had it in it's mouth but this morning, I noticed the crown was blowing around in the tank.

Oh, by the way, the photographer that gave the workshop I went to this last weekend shared a photo of a regular orange fungia he took...he said he was shocked how beautiful it was looking at it top down versus from the front. It was a shallow dealers tank but I'd be tempted to take a photo of one raised up in my home tank if I had one. Just to see how close it might come out to this shot:

I watched mine shed it's crown the other week and it was quite unnerving to watch, but to see a coral eating the crown would give me a bit of a scare until I knew the worm was OK.

:topic: There were some fantastic photos in that link Grins!!

Yeah, the worm is fine and is already growing a new crown. It dropped it's crown maybe 2 weeks ago and every so often I see it somewhere in the tank. The duster is on the other side of the tank.
I would love to get some nice shots from the top of the tank but I am short and it would have been a big task for me to get a pic. If it were during the day, I would have done it but it was late and pitch black so I tried to get what I could.

I love our crab, anytime anything comes near him he throws his claws up in the air. lol. He's always right in the middle of the anemone.
