I called up a LFS and they are selling some blue rams for $4-$5 each. Is that a good price?

good price as long as they are healthy.

find out where they got the fish from.
normally it would be considered a good price but if the source is a problem .don't get them(asian market )

A lot of Asian fish farms induce them with hormones so they can color up nicely (:rolleyes:) at an early age.;)
