I am adding a Pseudotropheus demasoni to a 55 gallon africn cichlid tank that has just been redone a 5 days ago. I have in the 55 gallon: 1 blue ahli, 1 red zebra, 2 yellow labs, 1 hap, and 1 female peacock (soon to be adding her new male).
Right now (30 min. after putting in the demasoni) the zebra is beating up on the demasoni. The zebra is 4.5" with the demasoni being 3.5". The demasoni is giving in and staying away from the zebra by staying at the top of the tank, but the zebra keeps comming after him when he comes down to the bottom. Is there anyway that the zebra will leave him alone?
