SeaChem's products have directions on the bottles. There's no mention of how to dose with additional CO2.. So, is it right to double the "normal" dose? (edit) Meaning, do I add more ferts than the bottles suggest since I'm adding pressurized CO2?

Are the directions for non-CO2 aquariums?

How come you are doubling you CO2?

I'm not sure what you mean. Are you saying that since you're adding supplemental CO2, then you should be adding more fertilizers than if you didn't inject CO2?

In any case, I use the little equations they give. Given your tank volume, your desired nutrient increase in ppm and a constant, you can pop out the number of mL you should be adding to get the specified increase. This doesn't have to be exact. If you're not getting the growth you're looking for and you know you have enough CO2, then increase your dosing. If you want to be scientific, vary only one nutrient at a time to see what it does. This can take a long time though, because ideally you'd have to keep the same conditions for a few weeks before making any conclusions on how your changes affected growth.

Find out what works for you by trial and error. Go nuts with the traces and potassium, they're hard to overdose.
