Hey Everyone!

Just wanted to put this question out....

I have a pair (male/female) of Green Terrors; they have produced one time before when I wasn't looking...unfortunately the fry didn't make it. That was about 3 weeks ago and now the female is displaying some weird behavior: She rushes up to the male (who is 3 times her size!) and bites at him, she challenges him every time he gets close to her. He doesn't really fight back, due to his size I don't think he needs to! He seems a bit amused by this and plays with her a bit...so I am assuming this could be a type of mating ritual correct?

PS- My avatar is the pair in question!

Thanks again for the help!

Actually your GT's arent true GT's, 99% of GT's sold in stores today are saums, which look like GT's and labeled as GT's. Only way to get a true GT is to order wild caught ones online.

But yes sounds like she wants to spawn, and he's not ready. Hence the nipping at him.
