I'm having a problem with java moss getting stuck to my filter intake. Does anyone know any solution to this? OR should I just keep removing the java moss daily (god it's growing out of control..I guess that's why they call is moss).

If your java moss is losing strands of itself then you might want to look at what deficiency it's going through, normally java moss does not break apart on its own. However if your java moss is floating and or positioned near the filter intake then I'd suggest a prefilter sponge for your canister filter, it'll keep out the java moss and also keep out large pieces of debri going into your filter, extending the service life of your filter.
