This is an Eclipse System 6 using the stock 8w plant light & stock filtration. If the sag doesn't respond well to the light I'll probablly retrofit in a 13w PCF.

Inhabitants:
Anubias nana
Anubias barteri
dwarf sag
crypt wedntii
java fern
java moss
3 guppies & 1 otto

Ph 7.4
Amonia 0
Nitrate 0
Gh 40ppm
Kh 60ppm

Not the greatest pic as I had just put in the sag & crypt and not let it filter out the roots, stems and junk. It is also a bit low on water. If I fill it up it overflows when I put my hands in lol
Comments & suggestions are welcome :)

Looks good, but I saw an older pic with a real nice piece of driftwood off to the right side. Maybe you should put some plants behind the driftwood.. ?

Is that Onyx Sand I see there? :) ;)

Good pic.

Yea, I had two Java ferns connected to that piece of wood, but it was big and overbearing so I ripped it in two (with ferocity and reckless abandon I might add ;)) I'll stick the other piece of it there on the right... that's a really good idea. I have a feeling that java fern might be too big for that spot.

That back piece of wood is shoved as far back as I could get it. 6 gallons ain't much to work with

It is onyx sand indeed. My tap water is softer than a baby's butt so it gives me some (albeit very little) buffer.

I'm liking that second piece of driftwood idea... Now if i can get home at a reasonable hour tonight I'll post another pic.

Thanks guys :)

The smallest tank I have is a 10 and I found that if I plant it with smaller leaved plants it looks much more to scale. Even my Java Fern looks out of place(to my eye) in my small tank. I pulled out the Anubia Barteri and replaced with the 'nana' variety. Looked much nicer to me.
