Hey guys,

As some of you know my 30G tank caught a disease (sounds funny) so I lost all my previous fish. I was able to find a 135G for a decent price but now I'm not sure what to put in the tank.

Id like to get a fish that is a predator/semi predator or go the route of having nice schools of fish in the tank...but if i go that route id like it to be very colorful. With regards to both scenarios how many fish would I be able to put into this tank, I know the type of fish matters, so if anyone could help that would be great.

Also with a tank this size what would be the best way to first cycle this tank? When I do cycle it; how long do you think it will take to fully cycle?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Tank will be fresh water.

do you know of any fish you had in mind? angels can be considered preadatory, but so could oscars.

as for schooling fish, go with a large school of a single species of tetra. congos, red eyes, rummynose, or lemon tetras would all look great in your tank in a large school.

Best of both worlds Cichlids
