Will 2 of these eHeim 2213 be sufficient for a chiclid tank? I just bought a used 125 gallon tank today. My plan is using sand with egg crate on bottom and build up with stones. Also plan on attaching a UV filter onto one of the filters. Unless someone thinks these 2 fileter would not be sufficient.

Thanks
in advance!

You could just buy 1 Fluval FX5 for cheap from this guy on ebay. http://stores.ebay.com/MONSTER-PETS

I just bought one for my 125 and I hear it's a pretty good filter. I also have an Emperor 400 and 280 though. I don't know whether or not Ehiem is better though.

Just about everywhere I look these filters are $299. He has them for $189 "buy it now" with free shipping. Cheapest that I've seen so far. He did charge me 4% tax though with was just over 7 bucks. My local fish store had it for $329!!

Again, I don't know if what you want is better or not, or if it's just a matter of personal preference.

I have 2 2206's and a 2208 on my 125g, and I'm very happy with it. I think the rule of thumb is you want your water turned over 10x and hour.
