I have never done diy CO2, but it looks a lot like the one I use on my pressurized system. I thought diy (yeast method) had no regulators at all...

i am doing a pressurized diy system. but i am on a really low budget so i am trying to get the stuff as cheaply as possible

ok i also found another one but it says o2. do you think i can use a o2 for the co2? is there really any diffrence? heres a pic of it.

I'm not 100% on the particulars, but I think they change elements of the connectors as you move from one category of gas to another so that the parts can't be used interchangeably. Diameters and thread count, stuff like that.

If you want something for CO2 it should be for use with CO2.

But the first pic looks like what I've got attached to my tank.

if youre going for cost, your best bet wold be getting a single regulator. They are much cheaper and that is all you need...

Mgamer, I don't know the prices on the units you're looking at, but below you'll find a link for the regulator I use and am very happy with.
IMO, the difference in price between the single and double gage regs. is not all that great, especially when you consider how important the second gage is for monitoring pressure into the needle valve. I would get the double.
