My firemouths are being picked on by my green terror. Why does he only seek them out and not the small con's? If you recall I had posted a thread about him being sick. He's much better now but it seems like his mission in life is to pick on my firemouths. Could the tank be too small?
My guess is your convicts can actually defend themselves but this is typical of the cons.

the aggression is probably due to the fact that there is not enough territory to go around, so the GT claims most of the tank leaving the smaller/weaker firemouths open to be attacked more.

Could also be related to sizes. Maybe the convicts are too small to be considered competition, but the fm are closer to the gt's size?

Your gonna need a bigger tank for the oscar and GT.

The fms' are a little bigger than the gt. im looking at a 135 gallon for down the road. So with a bigger tank that should settle him down abit?
