Aloha, been googling the same question. I've been looking for pictures on the actual appearance of Lake Tanganyika. Figured I'd share some of the best results I've found ...so far. Am still looking at the results tho. In Images search, there was 10,900 matches. Used these keywords:
lake tanganyika underwater pictures

There are quite a few good pictures. Altho they are mostly in the shallows or the flat areas.

These are mostly above water pictures, but got a couple good pictures of the shoreline areas.
Already these two sets alone are giving me ideas for use in my tang tanks!
Will keep posted on other results as I find them. Btw, that's how I found this thread, using the same above google search. The first picture in the thread was actually the first image on the image results!
