hey i hav some baby guppies. n i was wondering how old do they hav to be till i put them in my main tank.

Big enough to not fit in the other fish's mouths. Many fish consider baby guppies a tasty treat, including their own parents.

yeah, I don't know that there is a specific age of the babies, just a specific size really.... as said, as long as they are big enough to not fit in adult mouths, you should be ok.

it also depends what you are going to be keeping them with.
it wont take long for them to be big enough for a tank of neons, but it will take a very long time for them to be big enough (if they ever do get big enough) for a tank of angels.

couple weeks to a couple months....
Size varies even if fish becomes of similar age with its other siblings.
