r/o water

i am 1/3 way to filling my 130 gal with r/o water.i have added 5"dsb. c an i leave alone for the sand to settle or should i turn over with powerheads??it may take another 4-5 days to fill with r/o water

Powerheads will help the water clear quickler--moving water sheds particles better. Make sure the powerheads are not hitting the surface of the sand, or it will kick up more.

Have the incoming water hit a rock, bowl or plate, so it doesn't kick the sand up as well.
