Lees gravel vac-Python.Wasting water.

Never used my 25ft Lees python for taking water out only putting water in because of the water waste.Just fiquired out you can fill the tube end in the tank suck on the hose and get it to work without attaching it to the sink contraption they give you.No need to waste water.Since the plastic threads stripped on the thing that hooks up to the sink I don`t use it period.Hook up the hose back into the tank with a thing I bought for $2. and have dots on the faucets to show me where to put them to get the proper tempeture.

I've thought about using my vac that way but I figured the draw would not be strong enough to really suck up the junk. Are you able to successfully vaccuum using this method?

i use the hose to get it started then turn the water off. it takes more time but still works.

Good idea. I think I will try that. I actually went back to buckets.

i drain out the door or a window. gravity does all the work. goes *much* faster than hooking it up to the sink.

I wish I could do that, but there is no nearby window with a drain or yard on the other side (the joys of living in a big city).

The suction will be reduced, using the faucet adapter almost doubles the suction, at least on the 50 footer, but like you said it wastes water.........:idea:
