Has anyone used Oxy Clean to clean filter parts & ornaments?

Yep, that and tanks. It's perfect--rinses clear without any problem. Use warm water, soak for an hour, and rinse well.

Yes, it is OG's favprite cleaning product. It is very good though.

How would you suggest mixing it to clean the outside of a acrylic tank? Does oxy clean harm acrylic?

It's sodium percarbonate. So if it dries as you're working you might scratch the acrylic. The only conceivable problem. Rinse well.
