Has anyone used this mod with the mount they make? If so, do you mind sharing the pump size used, size of tank and results?
 
I read somewhere that they suggest only the 400 and 600 models...that the 1200 produces too much noise...not sure.

Did you see it used in person?

If anyone is using this with the optional mount I would love to see a pic...I cant find a picture of the mount with a modded maxi anywhere.
 
I wonder how it compares with the original mod. I did the DIY original to my maxijets when it first came out--it worked very well, though they were louder than I would have liked. Once I was able to get Tunze streams, though, I sold the maxijets. There are better alternatives (not cheap), but they are good pumps and certainly a good option in providing decent water circulation.
