hi i have lost two fish over last two weeks last 1 was yellow tang checked both fish no marks on them what so ever ...tanks prems are all good only thing that is high is my calcium..soft coral are in great shape any ideas would be great help tank size is 120 gal bow front i run skimmer have 4 power heads running mh lights on 8 hours aday 20% water change every 2 weeks with ro water

Hiya Kev, Can you please post your water parameters for pH, Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate, SG and temp as these will help us out a lot in trying to get to the bottom of what has happened..
Also, do you dose your tank with any adititives?
What is your feeding regime and waht foods?
What was the other fish that you lost besides the yellow tang?

What else is in the tank? as its rare for all numbers to come out as zero, as above, especially on the nitrates..

i only have 1 snowflake eel two cardinals and a fireball angle 1 fire srimp and 1 cleaner about 160 pounds of live rock plus cleanup crew asorted snailsand i run external filter with active carbon if anything i under feed fish i feed them every other day eel once a week with lance or fresh tiger prawns the other fish was a slingshot goby and additive i did put in but not now was callcium... food i use mysis and dried greens marine snow

just done another nirate test and its between 0 and 12.5mg/l the two colours green ideal and light orange good
water temp is 26 aprox 79
