Problems...

Hey, I have some problems with 2 of my fish. I was wondering if anyone could help.

I have a 125gallon tank, with a Huma Huma Trigger, Majestic Angelfish, Flame Angelfish, Maroon Clown, and Six Line Wrasse.

The Flame Angel's tail fins are all messed up. The lower portion, right up to the middle has a large piece missing. It's not shreded or anything, just missing. And the Maroon Clown's tail is shreeded in a few spots, from the end to the enter of the fin, a few long lines.

Any idea whats going on? I would guess some kind of fighting is occuring but I've never witnessed any.

My water parameters are all normal, and I do regular water changes as usual. I just did 30 gallons a few days ago as a part of my monthly cleaning ritual.

Any ideas?

is the clown disturbing the sand? Mine does that and keeps his tail shredded. I know it isn't something bothering him, cuz he was alone in that tank for a long time and still had it. The Angel's chunk was probably a snack for that Trigger. One day the trigger will be calm and peaceful, but in an hour it might go insane and kill everything. That's a trigger for ya, totally unpredictable.

The clown does scoot his tail in the sand alot now that you mention it. you think that could cause the shredding I'm seeing?

As for the Angel and Trigger. It's possible but I've never witnessed it myself.
