Im trying to find a light for my AC110 fuge that I made. I have a clip on lamp just needed bulb. Came across this one today and just wanted to make sure it will do.

looks like it would be alright to me... how many watts?
 
should be fine then, and its pretty much daylight spectrum which should make your macro grow all day long.. =)
 
I have to agree here, at 6500k, that is quite a yellow spectrum bulb..however for macro's, i have seen plenty of people use these with great success..

6500 really isn't very yellow. The normal non daylight bulbs are 2700k (very yellow) and the 6500 is pretty bright, obviously not 10k but its as close as you can get in those spiral bulbs. I used one for awhile and it worked out well. I am currently using a 5100k flood. You can read about results here:

The 6500 daylight is alot brighter of a white but I havn't seen a daylight flood bulb.
