..Catfish that is. The pictures are of my Skunk Cories, Panda Cory, Bronze Cory, Shwartz Cories, White-Spot Bristle Nose Pleco, and the newest addition.... my beautiful Gold Nugget Pleco. Haha, theres kind of a story behind the GN pleco. So, I go to Wal-Mart and check out the fish section (don't flame, we don't have any Bettas or Angels in cups here!) and happen to see that they have gold nugget plecos. Now, I pretty much HAD to have this fish because he was beautiful for one and we NEVER get them around here and I mean never. Not even in LFS's!!! So, I look for the price tag (which is way over by the goldfish tanks, not even near the tank the pleco came from) and hes 32.67 i think. So, I tell the girl i want that fish in there and she catches him for me, assuming she knows what fish he is. Then she says, what kind of fish was that?? Gold Nugget Pleco i say. So she starts searching for the tag for about 10 minutes...can't find it right. So I kinda play stupid because I really don't wanna spend that kind of money and so I say well, maybe it has a different name. So, she continues searching, and sure enough there is a tag that says Marble Pleco. Oh shes says, found it! $9.97! Hahaha okay, that price works!!! So long story short 33 dollar fish for 10 dollars. Not bad. I do realize that if he dies i'll have to pay the difference for another one, and probably will have to pay full price. Oh well, except that girl will probably keep selling them as Marble Plecos now instead of gold nuggets! Except she said she was from the seasonal dept. and didn't know anything about fish so she probably won't have to do anymore fish catching anyway! I didn't think it was a bad deal anyway. I do feel somewhat guilty though, oh well...here they are! :grinyes:
