I belong to a horse forum and someone had posted that they have an aquarium and wanted opinions on what kind of fish or other pet to put in it. One of the people on there suggested this forum after I tossed in my aquarium idea. So, here I am!! (I'll post my question in another section)
So anyway, I live in Tennesse - right on the east / middle border, about 2 hours SE of Nashville. Moved here from Naples, Florida where I'd been all my life and I'm so happy to be free of it there!!
My husband and I have 5 kids from 14 to 22 years old. We do rescue work with animals, mostly dogs, so our house is always a zoo. Currently we have 6 dogs of our own, 3 foster dogs, 7 cats, 3 birds, 3 box turtles, and 2 land tortoises.
My husband is retired from law enforcement due to an injury that caused a permanent disability. I work in Nashville in the accounting office of a major hotel. Love my job but it keeps me away from my family all week long and weekends are my sleep catch up time.
I guess that's about it!! Hoping I can learn some aquatic info for a massive 2 and a half story aquarium we hope to build into our new home when the time comes.
