My glass diffuser broke before I could put it in, which leads me to ask the question what is a good way to diffuse my pressurized system? I don't want a huge reactor, and I want to keep it out of my Rena Filstar if possible. Is there anyway you can hook the output from my bubble counter into a powerhead, or is that inefficient? Im really lost here, I've been looking onlien for hours.

If u get the powerhead that has the nozzle for tubbing hookup. The co2 will get sprayed out in small fine bubbles.
Is this for ur 55g?
Rex has plans for a cool diy reactor using pvc which is very simple and not at all bulky.

Powerhead, filter, or forced reactor is the best ways I've tried. Any of the others haven't been as good.

Well maybe I will do the filter then. (It is for my 55 g). Would I just squeeze the CO2 tube into the intake strainer and let the bubbles go through the ride? It is a Rena Filstar XP3...and if this is the way to go it won't harm the motor will it with too much gas inside the canister?

I have a homemade canister filter that I have co2 going in the intake and going for the ride. I don't see any bubbles going through the tubbing, can't see in the canister though. Don't notice any bubbles just looks like I just filled the tank. Co2 gas may pit the impeller though. Runnin gthe co2 through the intake on any filter powerhead willchop the co2 up finner than just running it in the air piece on them.
