Cute firebellies! Nice setup!
Great looking set up. A friend has a few in her backyard porch in a kiddie plastic pool type set up with driftwood and water. They seem to enjoy land more than water dont you think?
Maybe its just hers . They bred few times . Your set up look real nice hers is a bland set up but the frogs like the weather and males call a lot at night.

mine are opposite, mine are always in the water! which actually made me end up changing my set up more than once adding more and more water and taking away the land!

ive only had them almost for a week, im sure while im cleaning the tank ill change things around a bit, i know i did when i was just first setting it up
they seem pretty content for the time being, although it has been getting pretty chilly at night, ive noticed 68 in the tank at its lowest so far, which i know is still ok, but i have already ordered a small 25w heater since it will be getting colder in the next few months

Everything I read said they prefer the water . I wonder why hers prefer the land. They do seem to enjoy it warm even though sites say 68 is fine which it is as hers are subjected to high 50s (granted only couple days a yr) to 90s and never had a problem infact bred but your right they are more active in mid 70s to low 80s.
I like them to if not for the army of oppossums , local water snakes and herons would like some for screened of pond with land .
If you have a pair they will breed which is neat in your set up they will as its pond looking

If you can get a good pic of one of their feet i can tell you if its male or female so you know if you have a pair :]

Although we have only had ours for a week, they are spending more time in the water then on land. They are entertaining little thing! I have herd no barking so far :lipssealedsmilie::headshake2: oh well, maybe they are all girls:confused:
they're cuties. I also like the slate water fall and the island with the big river stones. Nice looking setup.
