I am looking to buy a skimmer for the 100gal salt water tank with a 30gal sump/fuge i am setting up, i was looking at a coralife supper skimmer w/ pump is it a good skimmer?

they do well. there are aboslutly better skimmers, but now many for the price. how much are you looking to spend? 
I had mine running on HOB mode in my sump. About 2 or 3 times, it pumped about 5 gal of water all over my floor. I still have no idea why. I am still using it, but I changed its location so its completely in the sump, so if it goes bananas again, the water just spills back over into the sump. I know there are a few others who have had this issue before, just can't remember their names offhand. I think I paid about 75 bucks for mine from Big Als, doing it again I would have spend more to get a better skimmer.
I dont want to spend crazy money, but i want to buy good stuff so my tank runs well. Do u know of a better skimmer i want to place it in my sump?
If you're going to have it completely in the sump, a little overflow once in a while may not be an issue. I had it hanging on the side to try and save some space, but ended up moving it as I said. I can't recommend anything else but I'm sure someone will chime in.
If you decide to go with a CSS I would suggest the 220 needle wheel but the Octopus NW 200 would be a better option in my opinion, the only problem might be the foot print

i got the euroreef rs80 and it is absolutely amazing... small footprint, 10"x9", it fits in half of my 10 gal sump...
