If I get shrimp are they hardy? I mean ghost shrimp.

i find them to die easily. i like cherry much better. if you have a densly planted tank they will reproduce easily but the adults dont last long in my experience.

Ghost shrimp are usually sold as feeders (around here I can get them for 33c each) and usually don't have a long life expectancy.
