I am setting up my new salt water tank, and since I am taking my time. I am setting up the tank which will be fowlr, and I am going to put the water in, and only the rocks. I will let the rocks sit and do there thing until after christams. Then I will get slowly a pair of clown fish, a bulb anemone, a pair of neon blue goby, 1 or 2 cleaner shrimp.
Maybe:
1 damsel
2 reef chromis
abalone the small variety
1 dwarf hermit crab
Not all of these clearly, but maybe one or two I can't decide yet, or maybe more anemones instead. But they have to be easy to take care of this is my first tank. Yes I know I named my tank, how sad, I know.:feedback:

What size tank are you thinking of?

I wouldn't recommend a damsel as they're extremely terratorial and can be evil little things. Doing it slowly as you've stated is the best way (I'm impressed with your patience). Anemones are best kept in established tanks.

well maybe not a damsel then, and I may wait a while for the anemone. I have had FW tanks all my life and have learned patience, especially when these fish are alot more money. But I still need easy fish to start with I am hoping to do a 55 gallon, I would like a bigger but I don't know if my floor could handle it.

Definitely wait at least 6 months for the anemone, at least. They need very good water conditions, great lighting, and aren't for novices. They can be beautiful but they often don't act as a host to clowns as many hope and the clowns don't need them as a host either.
