I was wondering if I can get cherry shrimp. I have 2 bolivian rams, 2 gold gouramis and some tetras. They are in a 65 gallon. I'm not sure if they can get eaten by the rams or the gouramis.

Thanks for the reply. Im definately going to purchase java moss for them to hide in. I have tons of room for them lol.

Sounds great thanks for the response.

They probably will do fine with lots of plant cover. But that's assuming they make it down to them...lol. Half of mine didn't. :( I tried distracting the tetras with food and they wouldn't have it. Of course you have a lot more room to work with than I did.

Here is a question. Since they are so small what are the chances of them being sucked up by my 305 fluva filter?

Not sure about the Fluval, but with Rams in there I would make sure that you start with reasonable sized shrimp. I bought a mixed-size group of CRS and the large ones I still see regularly. The Rams (as well as Tetras etc) have quickly learned to ignore them.

However, the small CRS I haven't seen since the first day. Doesn't necessarily mean that they've been taken - they could, very sensibly, be hiding out until they grow bigger - but there's also a possibility that they've been eaten.
