White Mountains of NH
Real Name
Amanda
Hey, I'm new here (obviously). My name is Amanda, I am 21 years old and live in the white mountains of New Hampshire. I am quality control for a company that manufactures custom communications cables for government and industry. Into alot of things, nature, science, paranormal studies, history, psychology, and of course I LOVE ANIMALS! I am new to fish keeping but have done alot of research and think I'm learning pretty quickly. I currently have what you see in my signature.

my plan is to have

1 50-75 gal planted FW community.
cories
platies
cherry barbs
maybe some mollies
and 1 med sized catfish.

1 10 gal planted
black male betta
he currently has two cherry barbs with him. they get along great but the barbs need a bigger tank so they will be moved to the large community tank and I will get them some friends. I might try to find another fish that my betta will be ok with, maybe a white cloud minnow.

1 10 gal planted community. I currently have a school of neons and some bumble bee gobys. 3 cories are in there but they are going to be moved to the larger tank. I am going to be adding a red ramshorn snail and maybe another goby and tetra or another fish. I don't know since the gobys will pick on anything with fancy fins.

1 10 gal quarantine.

1 3 gal brine shrimp hatchery.

I am also looking into starting a 10 gal sw. In which case, I will be getting another 10 gal QT tank.

I am also thinking of getting another small tank. 5 gal or less, for maybe another male betta or something else, not sure yet. I want to keep it on my computer desk :).

When I get my own house, I want to have a good sized pond, maybe 1000 gal. I will also be getting a larger tank for FW sting rays. Not possible now though since I do not have the room for a tank big enough for them. I know they need at least 50 -100 gal long. and since I would like a few plants and other fish, It would have to be at least 100 long or more to still give them the room they need.

so... enough of my ramblings!!!

see yall later :)
