Just wondering, because all of the local shops around here say they usually dont see it, but it happened again this morning... My coral banded shrimp ate one of my clownfish. Granted they are sorta small but i mean 2 months ago he hate a damsel. I know hes not under fed, so why is he doin it?

i see them go after fish but, never really get one. Dont trust a wolf with your rabbits (or what ever saying you want to put in). They eat fish in the wild they'll proble eat any fish they can grab in capivity.

I've read that coral banded shrimp will eat "any fish they are able to grasp in their claws." While trying to decided between a candy stripe cleaner or a coral banded shrimp I read a lot of articles about CB shrimp being aggressive on occasion. It's not a matter of being under fed, the CB shrimp has predatory instincts, and acts upon them.
