i know that it is not at all recomended, but on the very slight chance that my 10 gal is not vacated by the time i need to put the female into it, how long would the fry be able to survive in a 5 gal bucket?

like a day or so (without high flunctuating temps) or longer with filtration and a heater

if you add sponger filter and a heater they can be there for a week atleast. make sure your water doesnt become foul.
i have 30 gallon rubbermaid just in case like this happens

ok. i am vacating my 10 gallon this weekend so it will not be a problem after all. thanks though!
