My aquascaped planted 10 gallon.(Ongoing journal)

This is the first time I am trying to do this so bear with me...I am doing this from the ideas I got from Aquatic Plant Central:http://www.aquaticplantcentral.com/forumapc/aquascaping/
The sectioned off areas will have Flourite and plants,driftwood etc...
The other areas will be all purpose sand and gravel,rocks etc...
Any ideas on plants to be used to look like a jungle with a river bed going through it Is more then welcomed.
This is going to take me awhile but i will be posting pics every step of the way.

wow nice idea, thats going to look very cool, and solves the problem of different substrates mixing together over time.
 
Ok The Flourite.

Wow after rinsing and more rinsing and well you get the idea I had enough...lol
