Bonita, Ca
i have been watching her and it looks like she is acting normal again. she isn't as secluded as she was yesterday. i took the best pick of her mouth i could get, but i can only give it to u via email because i am having trouble loading it. sorry. =( but yes, any help would be great.

if its an african cichlid, then a holding female would look like she has a mouth full of pellets.

albino socolofi. i got pics uploaded. i'll post them in just a sec.

prob. not if it is her first time holding eggs than its normal for them to spit the eggs and ushally when they are brooding they tend to keep there mouth shut and makes wierd chewing motions and i cant always tell just by lookin if there mouth is full they have ways of bluffing you and pushing them up as to look like there not there but liek i said if it is her first time than dont be worried it willl happen agin

awe. that bums me out. =( i was really looking forward to having fry. but like you said, i may happen again. how often to they tend to breed? and will the male breed with the same female 2 times in a row? (since there is no other females at the moment)

It could be anywhere from a week to never. He may see her and want to breed or totally ignore her and keep on with his business.

awe. that is so depressing. well sometime in december i am going to go and get more for my larger tank. how about my electric yellows? about what size will they start showing signs of breeding or even their sex?
